    Whatever event you are planning, large or small, Dover District Council can offer support and advice.  The Events Safety Advisory Group at Dover District Council is a multi agency group involved in the staging of events.  The Group discuss both internally and externally organised events and from these meetings have compiled a toolkit, which is designed to offer practical help and guidance, providing an initial source of advice, information and checklists.

  • Events Planning Application
    Dover District Council, Highway Services and the emergency services need to know of any event taking place in the district, which will be open to the public and/or charging admission.These may require licences or raise public safety issues.We may also be able to assist with publicising your event in local listings.This form has been designed to discover areas of concern and to help ensure your event runs smoothly, so careful completion is essential.

  • Good Practice Safety Guide
    The Home Office have produced a good practice safety guide for small and sporting events taking place on the highway, roads and public places

  • Hire of Council Land
    Locations and prices of Dover District Council land that is available for hire.
