Concessionary Travel

Changes to the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme

From 1 April 2011

Kent County Council (KCC) have taken over responsibility for the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme. This means a number of changes to the way the scheme is run and what a concessionary bus pass entitles you to.

 

The changes below came into effect on the 1 April 2011.

When and where you can use your bus pass

You can use your bus pass for free off-peak travel on local buses anywhere in England. Your pass is valid from 9.30am to 11pm, Monday to Friday and at all times on weekends and bank holidays.
