Community Safety
Dover District Council is committed to reducing crime, disorder
and the fear of crime. It will do this through projects and
initiatives that it leads such as CCTV, by working in Partnership
with the Community Safety Partnership and by involving the
communities in the district.
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 requires
that the Local Responsible Authorities in the district of Dover
form a partnership which will produce, implement and monitor a
three year strategy for reducing crime, disorder and the fear of
crime in the district.
