Substance Misuse
Here in Dover, we take helping people recover from substance
abuse issues seriously, as the Partnership is committed to
improving the quality of life for ALL of our residents.
Statistics show that for every person who misuses alcohol or
other drugs, there may be fifteen or so others who suffer as a
consequence. parents, children, wives, husbands, partners,
friends and and neighbours - all suffer. There can be hardly
any family in Britain that has not been touched by addiction, or
been a victim of crime committed to fund a habit.
The Dover District Community Safety Partnership have produced a
Leaflet - Free of Drink & Drugs. This leaflet provides
information for residents of the Dover District on services
available in their area for Alcohol and Drug support.
