Why a Dover District Financial Inclusion Strategy is
needed
Despite its location in the prosperous South East Region, Dover
District contains pockets of the most deprived areas in the
Country. Seven areas in the District are in the worst 20%
nationally for health, deprivation and disability figures.
The following data has been taken from sources provided by Kent
County Council, Office for National Statistics, Department for Work
and Pensions, and Dover District Council records.
