In these challenging times, local Compacts provide a framework for partnership working between the sectors. They outline reasonable expectations and help foster trust, highlight shared goals and help resolve disputes.

  • Background & Launch
    Our Compact was initially discussed at a Compact Involvement Event in June 2003. A steering group was subsequently formed from those expressing an interest and work began on producing a Compact to create a new approach to working together.
  • Implementation Group
    A cross-sector group that meets quarterly to promote and deliver the Compact, monitoring implementation, recording successes and helping resolve any disagreements.
