Re-opening WCCG Spring Exhibition
Following our refit, the White Cliffs Creatives' Guild put on their second spring show at the Charlton Arts Centre, featuring paintings, photography and sculptures by local artists. Open Mondays to Saturdays, from 10 till 4, at the Charlton Art Centre, situated above the Charlton Shopping Centre, High St., Dover. 01304 208557. Admission is free. There is also a permanent display and sales of artwork, prints, jewellery, cards and gifts in the Project space as part of the "Crafted in Kent" initiative.

Decorate eggs, trees or make a picture, enter them into the competition being judged on Friday 9th. Workshops are on Tuesday 6th, Wed 7th and Thurs 8th, 12 till 2pm. Judging is on Friday 9th between 12 and 1pm. Find us in the "spring grotto" (formerly sewing shop) in the Charlton Shopping Centre, Dover. 8th FAMILY DAY AT DOVER MUSEUM
As part of the temporary exhibition 'The Victorians' adults and children alike can meet a Victorian lady and a Victorian school teacher. Find out what life was like in Victorian times. A chance to handle a range of Victorian artefacts and try a variety of Victorian activities from calligraphy to stained glass window design, colouring sheets, wordsearches and much more. Drop in anytime between 10.00 - 16.30. For families from outside the DDC area normal admission rates to the museum of £3 per adult and £2 per child, student and senior apply. Entry to the museum is FREE for DDC residents, prooof of address is required.

Meet Visitor Centre, White Cliffs Time: 6am – 8am Cost: £7.00, including parking, walk, bacon sandwiches, tea & coffee. Booking essential. Max 20 Description: Join us as we take in views of the sunrise and enjoy the beautiful and unique dawn chorus walk with our local expert. Finish back at the Visitor Centre with warming bacon sandwiches and hot drinks and enjoy the views of any migratory birds flying in over the famous cliffs. 24th Beating the Bounds Guided Walk
Meet Visitor Centre, White Cliffs. Time: 10am-4pm 12 mile walk. Allow 6 hours Cost: Free event but donations welcome. Limited spaces so pre booking advisable. Normal Car Park fees apply Description: Join us as we perambulate our boundaries over to Kingsdown Wood, an ancient woodland, managed by The National Trust. The Bluebells will hopefully be in bloom.
