Kent Partners Compact

Kent County Council has also published its own Compact and we are looking at how our work can be joined to improve services and partnerships across the county. This will enable county-level organisations to become engaged at a grass-roots level.

Kent County Council and partners have consulted on a draft Kent Partners Compact. This consultation period ran between September and December 2007.

As part of the consultation, a half-day event took place on Monday, 29 October 2007. This focused on the draft Code of Practice on Funding, Procurement and Commissioning; considered to be the most important part and building block of the new proposed Compact. There was also an opportunity to comment on other draft Codes.

Relevant details on the draft Kent Partners Compact are available on the Kent Partnership website: http://www.kentpartnership.org.uk/news.asp
