About Me
|
I have lived in Deal for nearly 25 years and I am married with
3 adult children. I have been involved in local politics for 15
years and in 2010 to 2011 I served as mayor of Deal. I was
previously Director in one of the local Heath Trusts and I now work
as a trainer in Health and Social Care with a particular focus on
dementia care.
I have been involved with Mill Hill over the last eight years.
Over this time I have got to know the concerns not just of
individuals but equally of the wider community and I am always
available to discuss your concerns through a home
visit if necessary. My particular interests are in the preservation
of our play spaces as well as in ensuring adequate transport links. Plus of
course the problems with overflowing drains and gullies in
times of heavy rainfall.
This year I am the Labour spokesperson for Health and Well
Being. I am always interested to hear about the experiences
you have of our local health services, both positive and negative
and of course I will be doing everything I can to make sure that
Dover gets its new hospital.
