Forward Plan of Key Decisions
The Forward Plan contains details of all the matters which are
likely to be the subject of Key Decisions of the Council over the
period of four months from when the Plan is produced. The Forward
Plan is revised each month.
General Exception Notices
These are notices of Key Decisions which
have not been included within the Forward Plan but which
must be taken before the start of the first month to which the
next Forward Plan relates. The General Exception Procedure
stipulates that 5 days' notice of such decisions must be given.

To agree a Deed of Variation to the Aylesham Expansion
Development Agreement. This is a key decision and is required
because of the current economic climate which makes the current
scheme economically unviable. Changes are being proposed to
ensure the scheme can continue. |

The decision relates to the currently vacant, former Regent
Bingo Hall on the seafront in Deal. The Council has been
seeking commercial offers for the premises and now needs to take a
decision as to which of any offers are to be accepted. |

At its meeting held on 3 October 2011, Cabinet agreed
that the variation to the Hackney Carriage Table of Fares be
approved, as proposed by the Dover Federation of Licensed Taxi
Operators. Implementation of Cabinet’s decision was subject
to the outcome of public consultation. Two objections
were received in response to the consultation, and it is these that
will be considered by Cabinet on 5 December 2011. |
