Sheltered Housing Officer (2.5 posts) 12 month contracts – pending service review

Salary range: £17,265 to £24,681 per annum pro rata

East Kent Housing has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and caring people to join our Sheltered Housing Team providing support to older people in our sheltered schemes in the Shepway area.

You will need to demonstrate an ability to interact professionally and effectively with our residents, as well as being able to play an active role in the development of our services.

Preference will be given to applicants with a national qualification in sheltered and supported housing and knowledge/experience of Supporting People and requirements of the Quality Assessment Framework (QAF).

We are happy to consider full time (37 hours per week) or part time applications for these positions. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, with some weekend and on-call overnight working required.

In addition to day to day scheme management, the post-holder will be required to provide leave, sickness cover and be able to travel to a variety of locations across East Kent as required.
