Corporate and Leasehold Policy Documents
The Council has a number of policies in place in respect of
Corporate and Leasehold Property and copies of the schedules of
cover and Policy Booklets can be obtained from the following:
Leasehold flats
This policy runs from 1st April to 31st March each year in
respect of the Building element of Leasehold Flats. The
insurance company don't issue Individual schedules but The
Leasehold Flats Statement of
Policy Cover gives full details of items covered
under this policy.
If you are selling your property and need a statement of cover
please ask your solicitor to contact the Leasehold Housing
Officer on the number below.

Zurich insurance have a 24 hour emergency repair service which
will help with things like accidental breakage of glass, blocked
drains or water coming into your home, this number is 08000 159
329. If these repairs subsequently become part of a claim Zurich
will deal directly with the repairer, however if they do not you
will be responsible for any fees or costs.
Other Leasehold Commercial and Council Insured Property
This policy runs annually from 29th April each year to 28th
April the following year. The Property Owners Statement of
Policy Cover gives details of the items covered under this
policy.
