Housing Advice At Castle Street Offices

The demand for housing advice is growing and there is evidence that many of the initial enquiries are directed to Council offices in Castle Street, Dover. In response to this, a dedicated service has been set up at Castle Street to deal with enquiries and offer advice. DDC is committed to offering a quality housing options service, with homelessness prevention at the forefront of its agenda. It is therefore important that early contact with the Housing Options team is made by anyone in danger of becoming homeless. In incorporating this service at Castle Street, please note the function will no longer be operated at Whitfield, except for emergency homeless cases on Wednesday afternoons, when Castle Street is closed.

Officers are available at Castle Street offices from 9 am to 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 9am to 12 noon on Wednesdays.
