Collection of large items

We operate a bulk waste collection service for households and a collection day will now be given when a booking is made for your ease and convenience.

This will also enable us to plan ahead and make collections in the same area on the same day.

Before booking a chargeable collection, have you considered whether an item could be reused by

  • Emmaus (01304 204550)
  • British Heart Foundation (08444 994146)
  • Pilgrims Hospice (07974 398295)
  • a local charity or second hand shop
  • or even a friend or neighbour

When purchasing a new electrical item, check with the store, as they may take back your old item free or for a (small) charge.

Electrical items can also be taken to Household Waste Recycling Centres at Whitfield, Richborough or Deal free of charge to residents.
