White Cliffs Careline introduces Telecare

The White Cliffs Careline, DDC’s monitoring and alarm service, is working alongside Social Services on a pilot scheme to provide and install other devices linked to our equipment and control centre at Whitfield.

This service is particularly aimed at vulnerable adults, leaving hospital with an intermediate care package based on Social Services assessments and referrals, and is for six weeks duration. It includes devices such as smoke detectors, extreme heat sensors, fall detectors, bed monitoring sensors, flood detectors, and bogus caller buttons, which alert operators when set off. We intend to provide and monitor this equipment to new and existing clients, giving even more reassurance, peace of mind and safety in the home.
