Updating Screening Assessment April 2009

This report re-visits the Dover District and assesses for any new process, roads or material change in the district. There are no major issues arising from the report, except for the recommendation to amend the existing Nitrogen dioxide Air Quality Management Area (AQMA) in Bench St Dover. The High St/Ladywell AQMA remains unchanged.

The report also concludes that the Council are now in a position to look at the Sulphur dioxide AQMA in the Eastern Docks Dover with a view to revoking or amending, as there have been no exceedences at the Langdon Cliff site. The Council will continue to monitor here and review in 201.

The AQMA 2009 Amendment came into force on 30 November 2009.
