Air Quality Updating & Screening Assessment

The Department of Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has published additional guidance to Local Authorities following evaluation of the first round of Air quality Review and Assessments. It recommends that Local Authorities should prepare annual progress reports which should identify matters which have changed and might lead to a risk that air quality objectives may be exceeded. This phased approach to Review & Assessment includes an Updating and Screening Assessment which is now available to view on this website.

Dover District Council have submitted the report for DEFRA approval, and are delighted to learn that it is to be posted on the DEFRA website as a good example of screening and assessment.
