Customer Access Reviews

A Customer Access Review (CAR – formerly Impact Assessment) is not just a legal requirement, it really helps to improve services to the benefit of the whole community. CARs are also used to focus on specific equality strands to highlight where we need to promote equality of opportunity for a particular group.

CARs are being done for all our existing policies, strategies and functions. They are also being done as we embark on anything new, or when something changes.

Our CAR programme of existing policies, strategies and functions is due to be completed by March 2009. As these are completed they will be published on this page.
