Redundancy
Being made redundant can be difficult and stressful. We are
working together with the Jobcentre Plus, Next Steps, Learn Direct
and other agencies to provide information to employees throughout
the district who are facing redundancy. We are also working with
businesses and offer advice surgeries at the place of work for
employees who are facing redundancy.
We have a dedicated redundancy specialist based in the Health
and Well-being Team who can arrange to meet with you at our
offices or visit you at home.
We are working together to ensure that the following
information is provided:
- alternative jobs
- benefits and taking claims
- help with CVs
- mortgage rescue scheme.
