Dover District In Bloom Competition

Dover in Bloom photoWhile walking around the area Housing Officers have noticed an increasing number of well kept beautiful gardens. We would like to give tenants the opportunity to enter their garden/hanging basket/patio into our competition.

Entries are invited from Tenants and leaseholders of DDC for the best kept garden in the district.

There are five categories to enter:

  • Best Garden
  • Best Allotment
  • Window Boxes / Hanging Baskets
  • Most Enviromentally Friendly Gardener
  • Overall Winner

There is a prize for each category The judges will be looking for the following points in each category:

  • General Scheme
  • Feature Points
  • Colour
  • Environmental
  • Cultivation Elements
  • Cleanliness
  • Innovative
  • Lawns Ideas

Judges will visit the shortlisted gardens on Tuesday 15th July
