Skate Parks
Pencester Gardens, in Dover
This skate park was renovated in 2006 thanks to funding
from Barclays Spaces for Sports and Dover District
Council. During the summer of 2011 Barclays Spaces for Sports
is funding free drop-in sessions every Monday and
Tuesday between 4.30-5.30 pm (until 23 August).
Bikes, skateboards and scooters are available to borrow at these

Victoria Park (Concrete Skate Bowl), Deal
A state of the art concrete skate bowl and plaza was opened
in October 2008, funded by Kent County council, The Big Lottery
Fund, Respect Youth Task Funding Programme and Dover District
Council. Floodlighting is in place.
The Butts Recreation Ground, Sandwich
This traditional, above ground skate park
has new floodlights that were officially opened in November
2010.
