Advertisement of Application to grant or vary a Premises Licence
An application of a grant of, or variation to, a premises licence or
club premises certificate must be advertised in the local press and
on the premises.
Newspaper Adverts:
- Must be published at least once in a local newspaper within 10 days
of applying to Dover D.C.
- Must contain the information shown on the example provided below
Notice on premises
- Must contain the information shown on the example provided below
- Must be at least A4 size Must be on pale blue paper
- Must be printed legibly in black ink or typed in a size 16 font or
bigger.
- Must be displayed in a prominent position where it can be conveniently
read from outside. If premises covers more than 50 metres square, a
notice must be displayed every 50 metres along the exterior perimeter
abutting the highway.
- Must be displayed for at least 28 days from the day following submission
of the application to Dover D.C.
