House to House Collections

(House to House Collection Act 1939)

Persons wishing to make an appeal to members of the public by means of a collection for charitable purposes, visiting premises, house to house visits including places of business, such as public houses require a licence.

Charities holding Home Office Exemption Orders must notify the Council of the collection dates and the specific areas to be covered by the collection.
