Vehicles

When making applications for the grant or renewal of a vehcile licence the following forms must be submitted with the application:

1. A current MOT test certificate that is not more than 1 month since the date of the test
2. The vehicle registration document
3. A current certificate of insurance or insurance cover note.(In the case of cover notes, once a full certificate of insurance is issued theis should be forwarded to the Licensing Section)

Drivers

• Application for a Joint Hackney Carriage Private Hire Drivers Licence pdf, 53kb
• Medical Form pdf, 81kb. To be completed by a doctor in accordance with the relevant Council policy.

Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure - All new drivers will be required to submit an application for an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau check notwithstanding that they already have an existing disclosure from another agency.
