Hackney Carriage Fares
The fares charged by hackney carriages within the local
authority district is set by the Council. The fares charged by
private hire operators are not regulated however if a taxi meter
vehicle is fitted to the vehicle they may not charge above the
maximum fares for hackney carriages as displayed on the meter.
Trips commencing or ending outside the district are subject of
negotiation for both hackney carriages and private hire
vehicles.

| ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS |

| During adverse weather conditions, defined as when the
Stagecoach Bus Company withdraw their services due to adverse

the tariffs relating to distance and waiting time are increased
by 50% |

| To cover cleaning and loss of income, where the interior of the
vehicle is soiled (at the discretion of the driver) not
exceeding |
