The Walmer Design Statement has been produced by the local community and is intended to influence the operation of the statutory planning system and give guidance for the design of development in Walmer.
The document has been the subject of a 6 week public consultation and alterations have been made on the basis of the comments received. Dover District Council has adopted the Walmer Design Statement as a material planning consideration in the assessment and determination of planning applications.
