Changing Rooms

2000 years of British homes and fashions

A new exhibition at Dover Museum until September 7th 2008

Dover Museum’s new special exhibition looks at how we used to live over the past 2000 years by recreating the houses and homes we used to live in. All the exhibits are placed in exact full-size reconstructions of period rooms, including a Roman kitchen, Saxon hall, medieval room, Stuart hall, Victorian parlour, Second World War living room and a 1950’s bedroom.

The exhibition is free to all museum visitors. Museum admission: £2.50 adults, £1.50 child/OAP, residents of Dover District (Dover, Deal and Sandwich) free. For more information see ’Visitor Information
