A warm welcome is being prepared as Dover District Council continues to work with the local community and a range of agencies and partners to get ready for the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay.
Dover District is looking forward to an exciting year - with the Olympic Torch Relay coming to Dover for a major Evening Celebration on Dover Seafront on Wednesday 18 July, as well as the Relay going to Deal, Sholden and Sandwich on Thursday 19 July.
Operation Cubit targeted Dover District from 9-11 January and removed 17 abandoned and untaxed vehicles from the streets of the area.
Residents and organizations who would like to have their say on the future plans for Middle and North Deal are invited to a workshop at the Golf Road Centre on Wednesday 25 January at 6pm.
