Get Your Cycle Skills Into Gear At Pencester Skate Park
An exciting opportunity to gear up your cycle skills and learn
from a British and European champion takes off at Pencester Skate
Park, Dover from Tuesday, 2 March.
Dover resident James Sheridan, current UCI British Cycle Trials
Elite 20” class champion and European Cup winner, is leading a
series of free drop-in skills sessions at the Dover skate
park. The series of two hour sessions is taking place at the
park on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm-7pm throughout March.
Further sessions are due to be arranged throughout the year.
The sessions are for all ages and abilities.
The skate park in Pencester Gardens was launched in March 2007
following an exciting upgrade of skateboard, BMX and in-line
skating facilities. These latest sessions follow a number of events
at the skate park, including the skate and ride event in April
2009.
The exciting new drop-in sessions are being delivered by local
company PACE Development, on behalf of Dover District
Council. The sessions are being funded by Barclays Spaces for
Sport, which is administered by the Football Foundation.
