Olympic Torch Celebrations
The Olympic Torch Relay will come to Dover on Wednesday 18 July
2012 and will also visit Deal, Sandwich and Sholden on
19 July 2012, as it tours the country before the 2012 Games.
Dover Seafront is one of 66 Evening Celebration locations
and the evening events will offer thousands of people the
opportunity to come together and get involved in sharing in the
Olympic spirit. As part of the events LOCOG and the Presenting
Partners, Coca-Cola, Lloyds TSB and Samsung, will stage exciting
entertainment shows where a cauldron will be lit from the Olympic
Flame, marking the end of the day’s proceedings.

Opportunity for Catering
Established outdoor catering companies can apply here for
catering concessions for the evening event.
The concession includes the provision of a licensed bar and ice
cream units.
Applications must be submitted by noon on Friday 9 March
2012
