Long Term Prepaid Parking Ticket

Only available in Russell Street Car Park.

COST OF TICKETS IS £3.75 (inclusive of VAT per car per day)

Please note:
  1. Prepaid tickets are issued for a minimum of 2 days.
  2. All tickets are valid on a midnight to midnight basis; please note charges are made from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm only.
  3. Tickets DO NOT reserve a particular bay.
  4. Tickets must be displayed on the windscreen of the car.
  5. A Penalty Charge of £60.00 per day will be issued if:-
    (a) period paid for parking is exceeded
    (b) if parked in a disabled persons bay, not displaying disabled person's badge and clock
    (c) ticket not displayed on windscreen
    (d) vehicle not parked in marked bay
  6. The Council does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from the use of the parking facilities provided, unless caused by the negligence of the Dover District Council or its employees.
  7. REFUNDS will only be considered on prepaid tickets provided they are returned before the final expiry date. If, due to circumstances on arrival, the ticket cannot be used, it should be inserted in an envelope marked 'Car ParkTicket' and posted to either the Car Park Section or the Dover Tourist Information Office.
  8. Security cameras have been introduced on all entrances to the car park. Although proving successful in reducing the level of crime, no security system can guarantee total protection. Please ensure on leaving your vehicle that it is locked and all valuables are out of sight.

Residents Permits

Residents parking schemes are available in some areas of Dover to assist residents and their visitors to park close to their homes.

A vehicle displaying a valid resident or visitor permit may be parked without time limit in a marked bay as indicated below.

Please remember the purchase of a permit does not guarantee a space and does not allow parking on yellow lines.

Cars Towing Caravans Wishing to make a Ferry Crossing
Cars towing Caravans wishing to make a ferry crossing are not permitted in Dover Harbour more than 2 hours before departure time. Provision for these vehicles to park has been made in the Harbour Board Car Park on Union Street. Prices are as follows:
Up to 4 hours £1.50
4 to 8 hours £2.50
8 to 24 hours £5.00
24 to 48 hours £8.00
48 to 72 hours £10.00

Please note that a ticket must be purchased for both car and caravan
