Commenting on Planning Applications

The Council publicises all applications on this website, in local newspapers and by site notice and also sends copies of each to the relevant Parish or Town Council.

Public comments - for or against - are welcome provided they are in writing and received within the required time. (Emails are accepted, however, a contact address needs to be included.

Letters from third parties may be inspected. No delegated decision will be made if the decision would be contrary to comments made on planning issues ('material considerations') in more than two third party letters. Such cases will be referred to the Committee for decision.

Speaking on Planning Applications has been introduced - please click here for more details.
