Building Control

Where can I find out more?

The Council's Building Control Officers will be pleased to give you information and advice. They are prepared to let you see the Building Act 1984, the Building Regulations and the accompanying Approved Documents, but these are normally available in any case in public reference libraries. All of these documents may be purchased from HMSO or any good bookshop.
