CFSP - The Organic Products (Imports from Third Countries) Regulations 2003

I have been informed by the Customs office responsible for Customs Freight Simplified Procedures (CFSP) that any organic products covered by the Organic Products (Imports from Third Countries) Regulation 2003 must not be entered to CFSP procedures.

These organic products must be entered to a full customs entry at the frontier and need to be accompanied by a certificate of inspection before the goods can be released into free circulation.

The control authority for the endorsement of certificates of inspection is the Port Health authority, who should be contacted for further details of their procedures.
