The Council carries out sweeping and inspections of all areas on a regular basis.

  
 
 

Email Reminder Service

Once registered an email will be sent to you the day before your recycling collection. Sign up for email reminders

 

Important

Please place your weekly household waste on the edge of your property by 7am on collection day in black sacks or dustbins.

Missed Bins

Very occasionally we may miss a collection. Therefore if your refuse or recycling was out on the kerbside before 7am on your collection day please call us on 01304 872428 or email waste@dover.gov.uk and we will come back for it. Please note that you are required to report the missed bin no later than one day after your collection.

Assisted Collections

If you are unable to carry your refuse or recycling containers out arrangements can be made for it to be collected from the point of storage. Please use the form below to apply for this service. Please note that the form needs to be signed by a doctor, nurse or health visitor and there may be a charge for this service.

Orange labels are provided free of charge for any person living above trade premises, such as shops or offices. Please telephone 01304 872428 for a supply of labels.
