Evidence Base
The process of producing an LDF firstly requires the assembly of
an evidence base. This base has been assembled and consists of
studies, plans and strategies produced by the Council and a wide
range of other organisations together with the informed opinion of
those organisations on the main issues and priorities facing the
District. This has been substantially supplemented by original
research undertaken by the Forward Planning section. This research
has been presented to a series of Local Development Framework
Group meetings. The evidence base will be added to and
