SyringesClinical Waste

Special arrangements are made for clinical/medical waste using yellow sacks. This must be organised through a District Nurse.

Syringes/Needles

Syringes can be returned to local chemists for disposal within the district who will take the full container and replace with an empty one. Any syringes found in a public place will be collected by Dover District Council for disposal by calling the Waste Line 01304 872428 . Most syringes are collected within 12 hours of reporting. An out of hours service is available by calling 01304 872070.
