Eat Out to Help Out Scheme

The Government has published guidance on the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, including how businesses can register to be part of the scheme. Establishments are eligible if they serve food that is sold for immediate on-premises consumption, including council-run cafes in museums, parks or libraries.  Takeaways, catering companies, and mobile van/traders are not eligible, nor are dining packages such as those offered on heritage railways or river cruises.

The scheme will run from 3 to 31 August 2020 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and is a 50 per cent discount, up to a maximum of £10 per person. It applies to food or non-alcoholic drinks consumed on the premises and there is no limit to the number of times customers can use the offer during the period of the scheme.
