What is the Community Grant Scheme?
The Dover District Council Community Grant Scheme is committed to encourage and support community-led activities, that result in a community benefit for Dover District residents.
Who can apply?
Applications are welcomed from community organisations and groups who are based within the Dover District, or who are seeking a grant to support activities that will benefit a community within the Dover District.
- Registered Charities
- Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIO)
- Community Interest Companies (CIC)
- Social Enterprises
- Constituted Voluntary/Community groups
- Constituted Sports Clubs/groups
- Constituted Youth Clubs/groups
- Constituted School related groups e.g. PFTA
- Constituted Church/Faith groups

How much can we ask for?
You can apply for a grant of between £100 and £4,000
Dover District Council Community Grant Scheme 2022/23 will be split into two funding rounds:
Applications to the summer round for 2022 have now closed.
Applications to the winter round for 2022 are now closed.

All grants will be awarded through the framework of the Dover District Council Community Grant Scheme. The grant funds are allocated across five areas (Sandwich & Area, Deal & Walmer, Dover North, Dover Town and Dover West).
Every application will also be allocated to one of these 5 areas, depending on the project location.
