Dover Waterfront

Policy CP8 of the Core Strategy allocates the site for a mixed use scheme including:
  • retail (A1 uses up to 20,000 sqm)
  • restaurants, cafes and drinking establishments (A3 and A4 uses up to 7,000 sqm)
  • assembly and leisure (D2 uses up to 15,000 sqm)
  • residential (C3 use of at least 300 homes)
  • offices (B1)
  • hotel (C1) uses
We appointed consultants to produce a masterplan in October 2016 and work has now commenced on this project.
It is expected that the draft masterplan will be out for consultation early in 2018, with adoption scheduled for Summer 2019.
