Brownfield Register

Dover District Brownfield Register

The Dover District Brownfield Register has been prepared in accordance with the requirements set out in the Town and Country Planning (Brownfield Land Register) Regulations 2017. Therefore, only sites that meet the criteria set out in the regulations have been included.

Registers are presented in two parts:

• Part 1 details a comprehensive list of all Brownfield sites in the District that are suitable for housing development 
• Part 2 provides a list of those Brownfield sites included in Part 1 where we have granted ‘permission in principle’.

We have agreed not to grant permission in principle of any of the sites in Part 1 and as a consequence there is no Part 2 of the register.

Next Steps

We will update our statutory brownfield register on an annual basis, which will also include a call for sites.
