Translation and Interpretation
We are committed to ensuring that all individuals are able to access the information and services they require.
We recognise that some people need the information we provide in different ways and we want to make sure that there are no barriers to accessing our information and services. This includes services to individuals from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds who may need to communicate in another language or people with disabilities who may need information in alternative formats such as large print or audiotape.
Face to Face Customers
Where possible we encourage individuals who cannot speak English to come accompanied with an English speaking relative or friend.
Migrant Help provides advice and support to EU citizens on employment, health, housing, education, benefits, rights and responsibilities. There are a number of translation tools available which can be used to navigate this website.
These automated machine language translators do not provide a 100% accurate or fluent translation of our website and may make fairly basic mistakes.
If you require assistance for interpretation or translation, please contact the Council department which published the information or alternatively the Corporate Services Team at firstname.lastname@example.org . Please be advised that documents cannot be translated as a matter of course, requests will be considered on an individual basis.
