Recycling and Waste Collections 

There will be no collections on Thursday 25 December or Friday 26 December therefore collections from Thursday 25 December 2025 to Friday 2 January 2026 will change as below: 

Monday 22 December – No change

Tuesday 23 December – No change

Wednesday 24 December– No change

Thursday 25 December to Saturday 27 December

Friday 26 December to Monday 29 December

Monday 29 December to Tuesday 30 December

Tuesday 30 December to Wednesday 31 January

Wednesday 31 January to Thursday 1 January

Thursday 1 January to Friday 2 January

Friday 2 January to Saturday 3 January

Garden Waste Collections

There will be no garden waste collections from Monday 22 December 2025 to Friday 2 January 2026 inclusive.

Christmas Trees

Christmas Trees - we offer a real Christmas tree recycling service to all our garden waste subscribers, just place your tree out on your normal garden waste day between Monday 5 January to Friday 30 January 2026 inclusive.

DDC Offices  

DDC offices at Whitfield are open up to and including on Wednesday 24 December 2025.  We reopen on Friday 2 January 2026.

Parking

Parking will be free in DDC car parks from 3pm for Christmas lights event days in Deal on Saturday 22 Nov, in Sandwich on Saturday 29 Nov, and in Dover on Saturday 6 Dec 2025.  For more information, please see our Press Release.
