Applications & Decisions
Notes
This new service is gradually being developed and there are some
limitations, listed below:
- Online planning history contained within the computerised
system is incomplete and must not be used as a substitute for
carrying out a formal Land Charge Search. No responsibility will be
taken for any errors or omissions in the planning history
information obtained from Planning Public Access.
- Information contained within Public Access does not constitute
in any way a formal notification of a planning decision, and as
such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the
site are undertaken entirely at the viewer’s own risk.
- Only some planning constraint information i.e. listed
buildings, conservation areas, tree preservation orders etc. is
available via Public Access for Planning and it cannot be
considered definitive at the moment. Where you see the phrase “no
constraints are associated with this property” please contact us if
you require details about possible constraints. For flood risk
information please use www.environment-agency.gov.uk.
- Please note that, for practical reasons, not all documents will
be displayed, although these will continue to be available at the
Whitfield Offices.
- Only validated applications will be viewable on the Public
Access system.
View Applications Online
Using this system you can:
- View limited details of computerised historic applications
dating back to 1990/91.
- Follow the progress of a current planning application or
appeal.
- Comment on applications currently under consideration.
Comments of a racist nature will not be considered and may be
referred to the Equality and Human Rights Commission or the Police
for investigation.
Submitting Comments about Planning Applications
Planning officers take all relevant comments received via
Planning Public Access into account prior to making a decision. To
submit comments about a planning application online you first need
to find the application using the links above. When the application
details have been selected you will see a ‘Make a public comment’
button. Click the button and complete the form, then click ‘Submit’
at the bottom of the form.
Comments of a racist nature on a planning application will not
be considered and may be referred to the Equality and Human Rights
Commission or the Police for investigation.
