The Roots 2 Work project is a free unique programme that provided support to people aged 50+ who live within the Dover District and are looking for employment and/or support and advice to increase their employability and skills. The scheme launched in August 2023, and will be running for one year.
Acquire (October 2021 - October 2022)
The Acquire project was a free unique programme that provided support to people aged 18-25 who live within the Dover District and are looking for employment and/or support and advice to increase their employability and skills. 3 Acquire 'drop in' hubs were established in the Dover District that can be attended by anyone aged 18-25. The project has since closed, however Dover District Council are working with the Department of Work & Pensions at future collaborations.
