Council Tax Energy Rebate

From 25 April, we will start to pay the Government’s £150 Council Tax rebate directly to eligible residents who pay Council Tax by Direct Debit.

If you don’t pay by Direct Debit, we will contact you to ask you to provide your bank account details.

Please be aware of scam callers - we will not contact you over the phone to take payment or bank details, nor will we ask you for any other personal information over the telephone about this.

For the latest information, please see our Council Tax pages.

Homes for Ukraine

The Government has published information for those who may be able to sponsor refugees from the conflict in Ukraine with accommodation. Please see the dedicated page for full details.  District and borough councils across Kent are working with Kent County Council to help.

Please inform Kent County Council when your guests arrive using the arrivals form on the following page Homes for Ukraine - support for hosts - Kent County Council (KCC) will then arrange for the one-off £200 payment voucher as soon as possible.

For further information including local support for both guests and hosts see our Support For Ukraine page.
