This collection brings together all strategical and policy documents relating to housing development in the Dover District.

We are currently reviewing and working on several affordable housing development policies and strategies which will explain how the Council will build affordable homes in the District, engage with residents and work in collaboration with developers.

In the meantime, you can find out more about what developments are taking place in the District by visiting our developments currently being built page, and how you can get involved.

Kent Housing Group

The Kent Housing Group (KHG) is a forum for housing organisations in Kent and Medway. KHG has representation from all twelve Kent local authorities, Medway Council, thirteen housing associations, three support providers, Kent, Surrey and Sussex Community Rehabilitation Service, Kent County Council and Kent Public Health. KHG also has representation from a number of organisations who work in partnership with social housing landlords, including Homes England, the National Housing Federation, the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) and the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP).

There are a number of documents which KHG have produced which the Council, along with other local authorities, has contributed to, and will use as part of our review of Affordable Housing Development documents.
