Council Tax Decision 2018/19

 

Council Tax levels for 2018/19 were confirmed at a meeting of Full Council last night (7 March). Dover District Council has confirmed that the district council part of the Council Tax bill for 2018/19 for a Band D property will be £182.34, an increase of £4.95 per year, or 2.79%. 

The average total Council Tax bill for 2018/19 for a Band D property in the district will be £1,727.47, an increase of 4.74%. 

The average total bill for a Band D property for 2018/19 includes the element of Council Tax for Kent County Council (£1,237.68), Dover District Council (£182.34), the Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent (£169.15), Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Service (£75.51), and an average for Town and Parish Councils of £62.79.
