Showing The Way Ahead In White Cliffs Country - With New Days Out With Maps Leaflets

Tourism Days Out 2019 - cover

If you're looking for fun days out for all the family this Spring Bank Holiday and school holidays, now is a great time to enjoy White Cliffs Country - and to help show the way ahead, Dover District Council has produced a fantastic full-colour leaflet detailing great days out in the area, complete with maps.

The new leaflets include details of a whole range of days out for all the family in White Cliffs Country, with colour-coded maps of the district and the towns of Dover, Deal and Sandwich, showing where the key attractions are.

This is in addition to the visitor guide for White Cliffs Country, which has also been produced and distributed, and extends a warm welcome for visitors to the district.

Cllr MJ Holloway, DDC Cabinet Member for Community and Tourism, said: “Tourism continues to thrive in Dover, Deal and Sandwich, and the surrounding rural areas, creating a wealth of opportunities and economic benefits, and we are delighted to be able to produce these new days out leaflets, in addition to our popular tourism guide.

“We continue to work hard to realise the incredible tourism potential of White Cliffs Country, including the potential of the Open Golf Championship in 2020.  We are working with industry partners, and town and parish councils to continue to develop our already fantastic visitor offer, which includes some of the finest heritage and landscapes that Great Britain has to offer.”

For more information, including an electronic copy of the new days out leaflet, please see the White Cliffs Country website, or pop into the Dover Visitor Information Centre, Deal Visitor Information Centre or Sandwich Tourist Information Centre.
