Community grants Social post 2025

Local community groups looking for funding are being invited to apply to Dover District Council’s Community Grants Scheme – which opens today, (Wednesday, 30 April).

The popular grants scheme is returning and is set to provide £50,000 in a summer round of funding to help local community groups deliver vital projects for the area.  This will be followed by another round of funding in the winter months, when a further £50,000 will be available for local groups under the continuing Cost of Living Community Impact Fund.

Community groups that benefit the local area can apply for grants of between £100-£5,000 in this latest round of funding.  Applications will be accepted from Wednesday 30 April 2025 until 12 noon on Wednesday 11 June 2025.

The scheme encourages and supports community-led activities that result in a direct community benefit for Dover District residents.  Terms and conditions can be found on the DDC website.

Rebecca Dyer, DDC Community Development Manager said: “Local groups and charities carry out essential work in our communities and we are very pleased to be able to help support vital local projects with the return of our Community Grants Scheme.”
